For sale via e-Bay:

his vehichle is part of the custom collection of the late Max Sonnevil! I am helping out the family and selling the vehicle for them. I will do my best to answer any and all questions that you may have on this vehicle. The reserve has been set below the recent appraisal value of $48,500. Car has been inspected by Jim Roberts of Jim Roberts Corvette Center in Kalamazoo, MI, and is in absolutely perfect condition. This vehicle is a definite must have for the classic car collector!

Here is what I know about the vehicle. I will do my best to answer any additional questions that you have, but from the pictures and the information below, you'll see that you will be hard pressed to find a nicer 1961 Corvette Convertible!

The car has converted to a 350 cubic inch motor upon purchase back in the early 80's. All of the work and continual maintenance on this vehicle has been performed by Robert's Corvette Center of Kalamazoo, MI. They replaced the original 283 with the 350, added headers, and also replaced the interior. The original motor is also a part of this auction, and with a bit of work the car can be returned to its original state (Although after hearing and driving this car you probably will want to keep it as it is!!!!!) This car is in georgeous condition, and it sounds even better! You have to hear this car to appreciate. It's a real head turner!

In addition to the above here are a few other things that I know about the vehicle.

4 Speed Transmission w/ HURST Shifter
Headers
New Interior
Includes both Hard and Soft Top
Mag wheels with new BFGoodrich Tires
The paint/chrome/frame are all in excellent condition and there are no signs of rust on the vehicle at all!

Finally this vehicle has been stored in the family's custom, climate controlled environment, and is ready to go to a deserving new owner!
